This is a most stunning antique diamond ring. This vintage platinum wedding ring dates to the Edwardian - Art Deco Period, circa 1900 to 1920's. It holds a cluster of seven old European Cut Diamonds for an estimated .58ctw (+/-). The way that they are arranged and their beautiful sparkle gives them the appearance of a stone about 1 1/2 carats in weight. The setting shows the incredible detailing and workmanship of the time. There is fine filigree work on the gallery and intricate milligrained detailing covering the three surfaces on the sides. The setting is an original period piece and is composed of solid PLATINUM. Overall the ring measures approximately 5/16 inch long by about 13/16 inch wide and is in beautiful estate condition. Ring Size: approximately 8 1/4 (could be resized by your local jeweler or ask me about using mine before shipping). It is a rare find to come across an original period piece as fine as this.
