A Lovely Classic Vintage Mikimoto Pearl Necklace Strand, Genuine Akoya Pearl Jewelry, Ginza Tokyo Japan. These beautiful luminous pearls are by the Blue Lagoon division of MIKIMOTO, Japan. The pearls measure about 5.5mm in diameter and there are 80 pearls in all. Between each pearl they are hand knotted to protect the pearls from wear. They measure about 18 inches on length and are finished with the original 14K gold clasp marked 14K and the "BL" logo for Blue Lagoon by Mikimoto. Mikimoto is known for the top quality in pearls since the late 1800's. These pearls represent the top 10% of all pearls that are cultured by MIKIMOTO. These are from an estate collection and are in lovely estate condition. A classic sure to please for many years to come.
