This is an exceptional beauty and a rare original circa 1920 find in stunning condition. This antique wedding ring holds a central deep rich ceylon sapphire with four diamonds and two triangular cut sapphires in the solid PLATINUM filigree mounting. The milligrain work on the setting is so crisp and clean and the examples with the diamonds and sapphires set within the mounting are so rare today. The center sapphire is about 4.2mm in diameter and is such a spectacular deep rich shade of ceylon blue. Marked PLATINUM and Peacock inside the shank. The Sapphire is beautifully Tiffany Set (not to be confused with Tiffany and CO.) in the mounting thus allowing for light to enter through the filigree and illuminating the stone from below. This is a stunning one of a kind original Art Deco Era piece that you just will never see again. It measures about 5/16 inch long by about 13/16 inch wide and is in beautiful estate condition. Ring Size: about 8 1/2 (could be resized by your jeweler or ask me about using mine before shipping). A truly exceptional piece.
